1. What the Software does
StatementSafe converts text-based PDF bank and credit card statements into structured formats (CSV, Excel, QuickBooks CSV, Xero CSV, OFX, JSON). All processing happens locally in your browser; your files are never transmitted to us or any third party.
2. No warranty — verify your output
The Software is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of output. Automated document parsing can and does make mistakes — dates, amounts, signs, or descriptions may be extracted incorrectly, and some statements may not parse at all.
You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all converted data before using it for bookkeeping, accounting, tax, or any other purpose. The preview shows exactly what will be exported; the "balance-verified" indicator shows which rows were cross-checked against the statement's running balance. Rows without verification should be checked manually.
3. Not professional advice
The Software is a data conversion utility. It does not provide accounting, bookkeeping, tax, legal, or financial advice, and its output does not replace professional judgment.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Software shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license (or USD $0 if you use the free version). In no event shall the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
5. License
One license permits activation of the full version on browsers/devices used by you personally (or by one named user within your organization). You may not resell, publish, or share license keys. Lifetime license includes future updates to the Software at no extra charge.
6. Refunds
30-day money-back guarantee: if the Software does not work for your statements, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund — no questions asked.
7. Privacy
We do not receive, store, process, or have any access to your documents or financial data. The Software runs entirely on your device. The website itself does not require an account and does not set tracking cookies. Purchases are processed by Payhip and PayPal under their own privacy policies.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the version published on this page applies. Material changes will be dated above.
